the CONCEPT

The Mission

This was a very straight forward project to take on. It was a brand new home with a dirt backyard and a slope running down one side of the property.

The Details

The brief was simple, a functional backyard layout. A geometric lap pool, artificial turf for no maintenance and leave enough room for their dog to be able to enjoy the backyard. They knew exactly what they wanted and that made it easy to design them a backyard they would love. We built a retaining wall to hold back their slope and maximize the amount of space in their yard.

The Challenge (because there always is one)

The challenge? The biggest challenge was designing the size of the pool accordingly in order for them to get the use they want, while leaving enough space to use the rest of the backyard. They were very pleased, it worked out perfectly. Designer: Ty Smith
