the CONCEPT
The Mission
This was a bit of a strange one, I didn’t meet these customers till we’d nearly finished the project.
They called while I was in England, desperate for a pool, and wanted to get started ASAP. So, George went and measured it, sent me some videos, and I designed it remotely.
By the time I’d got back, we where already three quarters done.
The Details
The brief was simple, a pool and spa in the most cost-effective manner possible.
The Challenge (because there always is one)
What went wrong? Well, you’ve heard the saying. “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”
In this case, it was. “When life gives you a sh*t load of rocks in your pool excavation, make a custom rock water feature from them.”
Which is exactly what we did, all the rocks for the waterfall came from the area where the pool was excavated. It looks great, but for anyone who thinks this is a good idea, don’t. It was mas dinero.
All in all, the project turned out really well. We’ve built another four pools on the same road since, the clients are over the moon and are our biggest cheerleaders.
