This, like a lot of our work, was a recommendation from a previous client.
It was a brand new property with a dirt yard, and slopes from each property line.
The brief was simple, modern, geometric pool. Cut back the slopes, and build retaining walls to free up some more space in their yard. We used a raised bond beam to retain some of the slope to save some cost on retaining walls.
The client had a very specific idea of what they wanted when it came to the material selection. I’m sure you’d agree that the monochromatic effect they’ve gone for looks great.
The challenge? There wasn’t really one this time. The engineering specs for the retaining walls where crazy, and took some time to build, but other than that it was just another day in paradise.
